When Mrs. Geib calls on a student and the student responds, "Who, me?"- Students shouting out an answer and/or comments when other students politely raise their hands and wait to be called upon
- Students who accompany a raised hands with grunts, waving, and "OOOH! OOOH!" noises
- Students purposely saying the wrong answer to a question attempt a comical nature
- Rudeness, in any form
- Negative or hurtful speaking-mean words DO harm
- Mrs. Geib asks a question and many hands are raised. Mrs. Geib chooses a student and they say, "Can I go to the bathroom?" Please choose an appropriate time to use the facilities.
- Not trying something or giving up easily-no one can do everything perfectly the first time!
- Not completing homework!!!
- Cheating, in any way, shape or manner

- Flowers, dark chocolate, and green tea
- Students who automatically raise their hands when they know an answer
- Students who do their best work in every assignment, every day
- Students who are helpful to fellow students and to the teacher
- Students who use polite language-Kindness is such a beautiful trait!!!
- Students who are organized, remember their pencils, paper, and homework
- Students who LOVE to think, discover and explore
- Students who go beyond, who never settle for doing just the minimum
- When a student sees a piece of trash on the floor and picks it up, regardless if it is his or hers
- Students who enjoy learning and ask meaningful and related questions
- When students know how to use their time wisely, finish other work while they are waiting, and don't sit around for others to tell them what to do
- Students who listen and pay attention, who do not need to have page numbers or an assignment repeated
- Students who realize that school is a beginning and not the end of an amazing life journey which will lead to incredible knowledge and opportunities
- Learning for the sake of learning and not for an external reward
