PUMPKIN PERSONIFIED POEM

What does it mean to be a pumpkin in November? What happens to you after you have been carved or painted? Or do you turn into a pie? Are you a pumpkin that gets smashed onto the sidewalk? Or do you stay on someone's porch until the next spring? Maybe you never got picked and are still at a pumpkin patch, waiting...

Your job is to "become" a pumpkin and determine your fate. You are to write a poem, in any format you choose, describing your life after Halloween.
